Luxury housebuilder David Wilson Homes is the latest residential developer to secure a place on Brough South.
The company recently completed a deal with the Brough South Consortium to purchase a plot of land off Ings Lane, where it will start work on 225 new homes in September.
The housebuilder joins Barratt Homes PLC and Bellway Homes on the development in building a diverse range of high quality houses, ranging from two-bedroom starter homes to four bedroom executive homes.
Together, the three housebuilders will deliver a total of 750 houses at Brough South, helping to address a housing need in this popular East Yorkshire town and the surrounding areas.
The Brough South Consortium consists of local landowners and developers Alma Jordan (Builders) Ltd, Riplingham Estates, BAE Systems, and leading East Yorkshire developers, the Horncastle Group PLC.
Ian Hodges, Director of the Horncastle Group PLC – also the lead developer on the scheme – welcomed David Wilson Homes to the development.
Ian said: “We’re delighted to have completed the land deal which secures David Wilson Homes’ place at Brough South.
“The company is renowned for building high quality homes which will complement the wider development and increase the variety of housing available across this vibrant and attractive East Yorkshire town.
“Brough South is already proving to be a very popular with strong housing sales. The presence of David Wilson Homes will only build on this, securing the scheme’s reputation as the natural extension of Brough and a highly desirable place to live.”
